The Fox and Pheasant Inn is a 17th Century Coaching Inn situated in a beautiful river setting in the midst of the renowned Eden Valley on the edge of the Lake District. We are a traditional village Inn offering finest homemade food using local products, real ale and fine wines.Our en–suite bedrooms have superb views and have recently been refurbished to an extremely high standard. The hospitality is second to none and with a choice of our stable barn restaurant and bar with log fires or our Victorian Dining rooms there is something to appeal to everyone. The village of Armathwaite is on the river Eden which is one of England's finest salmon and trout rivers and is easily accessible by road, foot and rail.
